How to obtain rotating proxies and how to use them

Rotating proxies, also known as dynamic residential proxies, utilize genuine residential IPs sourced globally.

They are commonly deployed for web data scraping.

Rotating proxies help prevent IP bans during large-scale data collection operations.

So how can you obtain and use rotating proxies?

Generally, you need to purchase them via websites operated by rotating proxy service providers.

If you haven’t found reliable channels, you may try a platform I personally use:

Below, I will walk you through the purchasing and setup process on this website.

First, log into your account on the site.

After logging in, navigate to the Dashboard.

Select Dynamic Proxies from the left control panel.

Two pool options are available: Personal Pool and Enterprise Pool. Choose either one.

All operations are integrated on this page.

Click Buy Now at the top to top up traffic for your account.

The minimum rate for the Personal Pool is

$0.66 per GB.

The minimum rate for the Enterprise Pool is $0.35 per GB.

Once your account has sufficient traffic, proceed to configure parameters.

We will use extraction settings for the Personal Pool as an example.

Two extraction formats are supported: Username & Password Authentication and IP Whitelist Authentication.

The username-password format is more widely adopted.

Next is List Name.

This is only a remark label for the proxy credentials generated in this extraction task; you can fill in any name for easy identification.

The most critical section is Country/State/City selection.

Choose the exact geolocation you require for this batch of proxies.

Then set the Rotation Interval.

This parameter defines the automatic IP rotation rules for your dynamic proxies.

Multiple rotation modes are available:

New IP for every request

Sticky IP (same IP for all requests)

Timed IP rotation, and more.

Set the Port Quantity based on your demands.

After selecting the credential format, fill in all configurations and click Generate Proxy Config.

Wait a moment. In the list below,

click the eye icon to view the full username and password details of the rotating proxies you just extracted.

Hit the copy button, and you can import these proxies directly into your applications.

Now I will demonstrate configuration within AdsPower.

Click New Profile on the left sidebar.

Go to the Proxy tab.

Open Proxy Type dropdown and select SOCKS5.

Fill in the complete proxy credentials in the Host:Port field.

Once all information is entered, click Check Proxy.

If the proxy detection succeeds, the setup is complete.

Click OK at the bottom.

Simply launch the newly created profile, and you can start using the proxy normally.

You can also integrate these proxies into other similar antidetect browsers or automation programs; the underlying principle is nearly identical.
